2010 brought many milestones and much excitement to the civic centre project! The year began with a visit from Prime Minister Harper who arrived in Truro with a $10M commitment on behalf of the federal government.  This was followed by the architects sharpening their pencils and developing ideas of a unique design our community will be proud to call their own.  In September, the public had their first glimpse of these designs; the response was overwhelming and phase one of construction began on September 14^th.  (more…)
