Call for Volunteers – Blue Rodeo Concert

The Ignite the Spirit Campaign is seeking a  large task force of volunteers in a variety of areas to help ensure the success of the Friday, August 5th Blue Rodeo Concert at the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Grounds.  The concert which will also feature Carleton Stone, The Heartbroken and Jimmy Rankin is a fundraising event in support of the Central Nova Scotia Civic Centre Project’s $5M Ignite the Spirit Campaign. Civic Centre Will Provide New Opportunities for Central Nova Scotia

With summer just around the corner, the excitement amongst the project and the Ignite the Spirit campaign is heating up.  The spirit will be ignited in Truro on Friday, August 5th when Canadian band, Blue Rodeo arrives in town to perform in an outdoor fundraising event at the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Grounds in support of the Ignite the Spirit campaign.   Three opening bands will take the stage before Blue Rodeo including; The Heartbroken, Carleton Stone and Jimmy Rankin.   Tickets are $45 plus service fees & tax in advance and will be $55 plus service fees & tax at the door.  They are on sale now and available at the Marigold Centre, MacQuarrie’s Pharmsave (The Esplanade) and online at www.marigoldcentre.ca.  Get your tickets now for this event in support of this great community project.
