It is anticipated that the new civic centre will include:

A 2,600-seat event venue
An NHL-size ice pad
A three-lane walking and jogging track
An aquatic centre, featuring a leisure pool and a competitive pool
A fitness and wellness centre
Multipurpose rooms and community meeting spaces
A rock climbing experience
Display space (in foyer)
Administrative and program space
Staff and operational support spaces

Over thirty Scotiabank employees volunteered at the August 5 Blue Rodeo Concert in support of the campaign. Scotiabank donated $15,000 to the concert.
